The Swiss watchmaker has updated its diamonds Tissot T-Trend T-Evocation ladies replica watch with a version featuring 22 diamonds on its mirror-polished stainless steel bezel. Featuring relatively wide solid steel bracelet (it is in fact as wide as the square-shaped case itself,) the watch will probably look great on any wrist. With its square case measuring only 23 x 23 millimeters and the polished steel bracelet of the same width, the watch leaves an impression of a discreet and elegant accessory that doesn’t scream “luxury,” but simply underlines the natural beauty of its owner.
Judging by the looks of it, the pair of T-shaped inserts on the bezel, each set with 11 TW diamonds totaling at 0.154 carats, is the only difference between the original ref. T051.310.11.116.00 model and the new watch.
While staying in a category of affordable Tissot T-Trend T-Evocation copy watches (it will be priced below the €1000 mark,) it still has those nice touches that separate it from the rest of the crowd, those including a white mother-of-pearl dial, as well as polished and applied Arabic numerals and hour markers.
In its press release Tissot doesn’t specify the model of the quartz movement that powers the watch, but I guess it would be safe to assume that the new T-Evocation is equipped with the same ETA F03.111 quartz caliber that ticks inside the original, non-jewelry version*. The small swords-shaped hour and minute hands also look well-proportioned and, well, expensive. Perhaps, the central seconds hand could have been a trifle thinner.
* UPDATE ON MECHANISM AND PRICE: First of all, it has indeed been confirmed by Tissot that the timepiece is powered by ETA F03.111. Although featuring “gold-plated” (I suspect that this is actually the good old titanium nitride or something similar) mainplate, this inexpensive mechanism features a lot of plastic parts -including all gear- that will significantly shorten lifespan of your watch. Of course, if the mechanism fails while the warranty is still good, they will replace it for free, and even after the warranty period is over it is still not expensive to change it for a new one, but it still leaves an unpleasant taste in ones mouth.
